Scan works with wireless

If you have problems with not finding the scanner, I suggest removing previous scanner from the system preferences. Then add the scanner once again. If it says that the file has malware, click on the Show in Finder, and remove the HP folder completely. Try calculation the printer/scanner again, information technology should ask to download and install the latest version. Become ahead download it. Once it completes, select the printer. Await for the Proper noun, Location, and Use dropdown. On the Use dropdown, practise not apply the default AirPrint, instead select the name of the printer/scanner. Add it. Go back to HP Piece of cake Scan and select the scanner. The scanner should be working at present.

If that doesn't work, best bet is connecting the USB. Its quite a hassle but at to the lowest degree it works.

HP Easy Browse Saved the Solar day

I downloaded HP Easy Browse to my new iMac Pro and one time the download completed and the App opened, I went to devices on my computer and clicked on my office 'HP OfficeJet Pro 8600' Icon -- immediately my figurer started downloading a new impress driver file. Once completed, a document that I had previously placed on my printer started existence scanned. The Like shooting fish in a barrel Scan App reappeared and when the browse completed and displayed in the App, I clicked on "Send" which opened a salvage window where I selected a Folder for storing all future scans. Delighted, I stacked several documents on my printers from feed and each certificate was scanned. When completed and I clicked on Relieve. I went to my figurer' browse folder and at that place each certificate had been saved to a separate jpeg. Thanks HP for a great, AND FREE, browse App. It will save me a lot of work back when I used to scan to a USB drive, switch it to my computer, and search HP_Scan directory and promise my document appeared. This is a productivity fourth dimension saver! Kudos !!

Unable to utilize for the last two Mac OS releases

Despite existence able to connect wirelessly to my LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw, and impress and do single side scans from HP Smart on my iPhone and my Mac, HP Like shooting fish in a barrel Smart cannot find my printer, even after all of the reset and driver uninstall/reinstall directions provided. I've encountered this on Mac Os Catalina and at present Monterey (Os's 11 and 12). Information technology supposedly has a part to practise duplex scanning which I want to be able to use, and was a feature availabe on HP Deskjet printers in years past. Judging by the number of 1-star reviews of this app, I'yard far from solitary.

Delight HP, update this app to brand it work the way information technology'south advertised to. I spent a good deal of money on my multi-part printer on reputation for good quality prints and scans (with supposedly fully performance software), and while it works well as I've used it in print jobs and scans from HP Smart, I believe having this Easy Browse app working properly is a legitimate expectation for the price I paid to purchase the device and have it piece of work as information technology's supposed to exist able to.

Is the alternative to eventually phase out Easy Scan and build all of that functionality into HP Smart for both Mac and iOS?
